Deja Dup is a backup software application for Ubuntu that makes backup-ing a seamless process. You can do manual backups, or you can make the software backup your files on a specific time basis. The backups can be saved in a local folder, but it is highly suggested that you backup your files on a remote storage, such as Ubuntu One, Dropbox, etc.

If you have this error "Bad Encryption Password" popping up when Deja Dup tries to do a new backup, that's because the last backup made by the software is corrupt. To fix this problem, you should go in the folder where you backups are saved and delete the last file (should have .gpg file extension). Try again to run the Deja Dup backup manually. Should work fine right now!
