Advertising is a form of communication or message used to encourage,convince or persuade a section of society, a society at large or an audience (viewers,readers or listeners) to continue the same action or take some new favorable action.Most commenly, the desired result is to drive consumer behavior with respect to commercial offerings, although political and ideological advertising is also common feature.A Commercial advertisement ,indeed, should seek to generate increased consumption or use of their products or services through "Branding" or "Goodwill Making,"no doubt, should involve the repetition of an image or product name and professing (show casing) the positive side of of their services or products in an effort to associate certain qualities with the brand in the minds of consumers or users.This necessitates the advertisers to ensure verbal and visual images that lead the consumers or users to the desired stage and make them believe that their products are beneficial for their personal values.In otherwords any commercial advertisement should contain verbal or visual images or both which should be impressive to draw the attention of the consumers and make them believe that their brand is the most suitable for fulfilling their requirements.It does not mean mean that the advertisement depict nudity or expose sexual side of human body to attract the attention of consumers as is seen in many advertisements of the day.The Buety does not mean mearly nudity or sex.One can observe in one advertisement a naked woman in icecubes floating on a certain brand of soft drink and in another one a nude woman using a certain brand of soap.There are also occations whare where pornographic messages are being flasshed in theaters to attract attention of audience towards theit products or services.These advertisements,in their preponderance on sex or nudity, often become "off topic" and fail to influence the targetted consumers or users.In certain instances these advertisements may get rejected by a section of society and as a result the advertisers have the chance of losing valuable size of audience.Unnecessary exposure of sex or unwanted off the mark depiction of nudity and use of pornographic verbatim in advertisements may get negative impact on the advertisents and fail to achieve the desired purpose.Indeed,it may attract negative impact on audience.The advertisers should restrain to use unnecessary exposure of sex or unwanted depiction of nudity for the good of their business and the society at large.
